We are happy to announce that we have integrated our Soapbox social media product with the VidiGo Graphics software to provide a turnkey solution for Social TV.  

Many Quantel users may be familiar with Speed Six’s Monsters and Raptors plug-ins. And many users may also know that Genarts acquired Speed Six, and that Genarts has released a new product, Monsters GT. In fact, Genarts recently just did a major update of this product, Monsters GT v7. 

Boris has come up with some great new features in its Continuum Complete Version 8!

GenArts has been working hard on Sapphire v6, and it's very exciting for us to have it available on Quantel, thanks to VDS!  V6 is a huge new release for us, featuring the custom lens flare designer, and a whole new preset system so users can get both inspiration and quick results faster.  One of the most interesting features of v6 is integration with GenArts' new FX Central site; FX Central allows you to browse and download looks directly to the Quantel right from FX Central.  New looks are made available monthly, and we're constantly making more improvements.

A common problem for broadcasters is designing graphics for High Definition (HD) production when somewhere along the transmission chain, these will be down-converted to Standard Definition (SD) video. This is most commonly done is cases where a signal is simulcast in HD and SD, or where a service provider can provide only an SD transmission channel.

In case you haven't heard, we just released Neat Video, a new addition to the VDS list of available Quantel  graphics plug-ins!

Neat Video is a plug-in filter specifically designed to reduce visible noise in digital video clips produced by modern digital video capturing devices as well as material digitized from traditional film or VHS records. Neat Video features a custom user interface that displays over the Quantel UI, allowing users to efficiently specify which areas of a clip represent noise. This builds a Device Noise Profile that users can tweak and save using this custom menu. This approach allows drawing a more clear distinction between noise and details in noisy video data. This helps Neat Video reduce more noise and better preserve true details in digital video clips.
